At INYIS — Nigeria’s Property Marketplace, we want users to feel comfortable asking questions, reporting problems and raising concerns.
If something has gone wrong, a property listing appears suspicious, an enquiry has not been handled properly, or you need help using the website, please contact us.
We would rather receive a genuine complaint and have the opportunity to investigate it than have a user feel that their concern has been ignored.

5. Complaints About Agents or Property Professionals
If you have a concern about an agent or property professional listed on INYIS, please contact us with the relevant details.
Depending on the nature of the complaint, we may:
- Review the relevant profile
- Review the associated listing
- Contact the professional for clarification

- Review verification information
- Restrict the profile or listing
- Suspend access to INYIS

The action taken will depend on the circumstances and available information.
6. Complaints About Property Transactions
INYIS is a marketplace and is not automatically a party to the underlying purchase, sale or rental agreement between users and property professionals.
If your complaint concerns a completed property transaction, you should normally raise the matter directly with the relevant seller, landlord, agent or other contracting party as well as informing INYIS where the issue involves our platform.
For serious legal, ownership or contractual disputes, you should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
7. Nigerian Property Support
Some Nigerian property enquiries may be handled with the assistance of:
EMERALD PRIME HOMES LTD
This may include:
- Property enquiries
- Local communication
- Property viewing assistance
- Local property relationships
- Customer assistance in Nigeria
Where your complaint relates specifically to a Nigerian property matter, INYIS may involve the relevant Nigerian partner or property professional so that the issue can be properly investigated.
8. Fraud and Suspicious Activity
Please contact us immediately if you believe that someone is using INYIS for fraudulent activity.
Examples include requests to:
- Pay money urgently
- Pay into an unrelated account
- Send money before appropriate verification
- Avoid a written agreement
- Provide unnecessary sensitive information
- Use a private payment arrangement outside the agreed process
- Ignore normal property verification procedures
If you believe you are currently being defrauded, you should also contact your bank or payment provider and, where appropriate, the relevant law-enforcement authority.
Do not continue sending money simply because someone claims to represent INYIS.
9. Payment and Contractor Membership Complaints
If your complaint concerns a contractor membership or payment, please provide:
- Your INYIS account email
- Contractor or company name
- Payment date
- Payment reference, if available
- Description of the problem
Where a third-party payment provider processed the transaction, we may need to work with that provider to investigate the payment.
Do not send your full card number or security code by email.
10. Building Materials Complaints
If your enquiry concerns Spanish tiles or building materials, please provide:
- Product or tile reference
- Quotation number, if available
- Order number, if available
- Date of enquiry or order
- Quantity involved

You can use the subject:
Privacy Complaint — INYIS
Please explain:
- What information you believe is involved
- What happened
- What you would like us to do
- Any relevant account, enquiry or listing reference
We may need to verify your identity before discussing or changing personal information.
For more information, please see our Privacy & Data Protection page.
12. How We Handle Complaints
When we receive a complaint, we may:
- Acknowledge receipt where appropriate.
- Review the information provided.
- Identify the relevant listing, account or service.
- Contact the relevant person or business where necessary.
- Request additional information.
- Take appropriate action based on the circumstances.
- Communicate the outcome where appropriate.
Some matters may take longer to investigate than others, particularly where third parties, property documents or external services are involved.
13. Response Times
We aim to respond to genuine support requests as soon as reasonably practical.
The time required to resolve an issue can depend on:
- The complexity of the complaint
- Whether another business is involved
- Whether supporting documents are required
- Whether a property transaction is involved
- Whether external authorities or service providers need to be contacted
An acknowledgement of a complaint does not necessarily mean that we have accepted the complaint or concluded that a third party has acted improperly.
14. Confidentiality
We will handle complaints responsibly and will only share information where reasonably necessary to investigate or resolve the matter, comply with legal obligations, protect users, or operate the relevant service.
Please be aware that some complaints cannot be investigated without sharing relevant information with the person or business concerned.
Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy & Data Protection policy.
15. Evidence and Supporting Documents
If you have screenshots, emails, receipts, property documents or other evidence relevant to your complaint, you may provide them to us.
Please remove information that is not necessary for the complaint, particularly:
- Passwords
- Payment-card numbers
- Security codes
- Unrelated personal information
- Other people’s private information
16. What We Can and Cannot Do
Depending on the circumstances, INYIS may be able to:
- Correct or update a listing
- Contact a listing provider
- Restrict or remove suspicious content
- Review an agent or contractor profile
- Review verification information
- Assist with a website or account issue
- Connect a user with the relevant property professional
- Investigate suspected misuse of the platform
However, INYIS cannot automatically:
- Cancel a contract between two other parties
- Transfer ownership of property
- Guarantee a refund from another business
- Resolve a legal title dispute
- Act as your lawyer
- Guarantee the conduct of an independent agent or seller
Where a matter is outside our role, we will explain this as clearly as reasonably possible.
17. Serious Safety or Legal Issues
If you believe there is an immediate threat to someone’s safety, suspected criminal activity or another urgent matter requiring official intervention, contact the appropriate emergency service or law-enforcement authority.
Do not rely solely on an INYIS complaint as an emergency reporting mechanism.
18. Escalating a Complaint
If you are not satisfied with the way your complaint has been handled, reply to the original support communication and explain why.
Please include:
- Your original complaint
- Any previous response
- The reason you believe further review is necessary
- Any additional evidence
We will review the matter again where appropriate.
19. No Retaliation for Genuine Complaints
You will not be penalised by INYIS simply for making a genuine complaint or reporting a concern in good faith.
However, knowingly submitting false information, malicious complaints, threats or abusive communications may result in restrictions on the use of the platform.
20. Changes to This Support Policy
We may update this page as INYIS develops its support and complaints process.
The latest version will show the date of the most recent update.

22. Final Message
We want INYIS to be a marketplace where people can ask questions, report concerns and make property enquiries with greater confidence.
If something does not look right, tell us.
A report does not automatically mean that a person or business has done something wrong, but it gives us an opportunity to investigate and take appropriate action.
