Data Protection & Privacy

At INYIS, we believe that looking for a property, contacting an agent, listing a property or asking about building materials should not mean giving up control of your personal information.

This Privacy & Data Protection Notice explains what information INYIS may collect, why we use it, when we may share it, and the choices available to you.

We have written this notice in plain language because privacy information should be understandable, not hidden behind complicated legal wording.

1. About INYIS

INYIS — Nigeria’s Property Marketplace is a digital marketplace connecting people interested in property in Nigeria with property professionals, agents, owners and other relevant service providers.

INYIS is operated from Spain by David Kingsley Iloh.

General INYIS contact:

Email: commercial@inyis.com
Telephone: +34 633 900 870

INYIS also works with local Nigerian property professionals and business partners where local assistance is required.

2. Our Nigerian Real-Estate Partner

For certain property-related activities in Nigeria, INYIS works with:

EMERALD PRIME HOMES LTD
Praise Plaza, 2nd Floor, Suite C5/6
Agboju, Lagos, Nigeria

Telephone: +234 803 603 1813 | +234 814 858 2331

Depending on the enquiry you make, information you submit through INYIS may need to be shared with the relevant Nigerian property professional or partner so that your enquiry can be answered.

The Nigerian partner does not own the INYIS website or INYIS brand.

3. What Information We May Collect

Depending on how you use INYIS, we may collect information such as:

We try to collect only information that is relevant to the service or purpose for which it is being provided.

4. When You Contact an Agent or Property Professional

When you use INYIS to enquire about a property, request a viewing or contact an agent, the information you provide may be passed to the relevant agent, property owner, representative or Nigerian property partner.

This allows the relevant person to respond to your request.

For example, if you ask to view a property in Lagos, your name and contact details may need to be provided to the Nigerian property professional responsible for arranging that viewing.

We do not treat an enquiry as permission to send unrelated marketing messages.

5. INYIS Buyer Accounts

If you create an INYIS account, we may process information needed to:

You should keep your login information confidential and tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

6. Property Listings

Property listings on INYIS may contain information supplied by agents, owners, developers or other property professionals.

Some listing information may relate to an individual or business.

Where a property professional provides personal or business information for publication, that person is responsible for ensuring that the information they provide to INYIS is appropriate for publication and does not unlawfully disclose another person’s personal information.

INYIS may review, edit, restrict or remove information where there is a legitimate reason to do so.

7. Property Verification

INYIS may collect information and documents for property or agent verification purposes.

Verification information may include:

Verification documents are not necessarily published publicly.

Access to verification information may be restricted to people who need it for verification, administration, legal, security or compliance purposes.

8. Agents and Property Professionals

If you register as an agent or property professional, we may process information including:

Some professional information may be displayed publicly as part of your INYIS profile.

9. Contractors and Professional Services

INYIS may provide a marketplace or directory for contractors and other property-related professionals.

Contractors may be required to provide business and professional information when registering.

Where INYIS provides a paid contractor membership or service, payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment provider.

The information required for registration, payment and account administration may therefore be processed by INYIS and the relevant payment provider.

10. Spanish Tiles and Building Materials

INYIS also provides information about selected Spanish tiles and building materials available for customers and projects connected with Nigeria.

When you enquire about tiles or building materials, we may collect your name, contact information, project requirements and delivery or commercial information needed to respond to your enquiry.

A commercial tile transaction may involve a separate Spanish supplying business.

The applicable supplier’s legal identity may appear on quotations, invoices, contracts, export documents and other commercial documents where required.

This supplier relationship is separate from the public INYIS marketplace branding.

14. Information Moving Between Countries

Where personal information is transferred internationally, we aim to use appropriate safeguards and comply with applicable data-protection requirements.

Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

Where an unsubscribe option is provided, you can use it to stop receiving marketing communications.

17. How Long We Keep Information

We consider factors such as:

When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it, subject to legal or legitimate business requirements.

21. WhatsApp and External Services

Some INYIS services may provide links or buttons to WhatsApp, social networks, payment providers, mapping services or other external websites and platforms.

When you choose to use those services, you may be dealing directly with the third party.

Those services have their own privacy practices and terms.

For example, if you choose to contact an agent through WhatsApp, the subsequent communication takes place through WhatsApp and is subject to WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy practices.

22. Information About Children

INYIS is intended primarily for adults looking for property, professional services or building materials.

We do not knowingly design our services to collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to INYIS without appropriate permission, please contact us.

25. A Final Note About Property Transactions

INYIS is a marketplace and information platform.
